Once BIP SXM has registered your clients application in the Sint Maarten trademarks register, they will have exclusive rights to your trademark. However, to maintain those rights, they must:
- use the trademark,
- keep an eye out for unauthorized use by others,
- keep the registration updated and
- renew it on time.
