The Bureau for Intellectual Property (the Bureau), attended a two-day workshop, held in Curaçao on August 17th and 18th, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Curaçao with support from the COSME programme.
The Chamber of Commerce Sint Maarten (Chamber) has started an initiative for newly registered businesses called the ‘business orientation’. With this project Chamber aims to assist entrepreneurs with basic know how’s for doing business on Sint Maarten.

The Bureau for Intellectual Property Sint Maarten is pleased to announce that as per today, November 27th, we are open and able to provide services to the public. As mentioned in a previous press release, the office was severely damaged as a result of the passing of hurricane Irma. The office has been renovated and we are ready to receive clients.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team and staff of the Benelux Office for Intellectual Property (BOIP) for their help and support during our rebuilding process by taking over the trademark registrations for Sint Maarten.
