BIP SXM celebrates anniversary with IP workshop

As part of its anniversary celebrations, the Bureau hosted an IP workshop that brought together IP professionals and representatives from regional IP offices and firms, including those from the Netherlands. The workshop provided a platform for sharing knowledge, exchanging insights and fostering collaboration aimed at strengthening IP development across the Caribbean.

Presenters and participants discussed current trends, emerging challenges and opportunities to enhance IP protection for creators, entrepreneurs and businesses in the region. The discussions emphasized how collaboration and knowledge-sharing among regional IP offices and organizations can strengthen IP practices across the Caribbean.

Building on these exchanges, the workshop reinforced BIP SXM’s commitment to raising IP awareness and fostering partnerships that support innovation, creativity and the growth of IP throughout the region.
